hey jls...i'm guessing from the comments that video is about placards and handicap stalls. as a blind person i don't feel justified to use the handicap stall because it's designed to be wheelchair accessible but i can fit into any stall. i also don't feel the need to use the placard for my blindness because i would never be parking my car and goign into a store alone. i'd like to get one for my chronic pain disability though, as that makes it hard to walk distances with bags in my hand.

As a visually impaired person, I would just like to say that the topics you brought up in this video are good for people to be aware of. Most people think only of themselves and forget to remember that those accomodated spots do serve a purpose.

Well said jls1114! The thing that really bothers me is that I know some people who have ABSOLUTELY no physical, or health issues - and the state has given them the placards anyway. It's sad that people abuse this like they do. As for the stall issue - I have used the handicap stall a couple times when no other was available, and it was an emergency. But I tried to be very quick about it. I don't do it unless I have no other choice though.

I agree with everything you said. Regarding the parking thing, that definitely cheeses me off. I can't tell who's tag is who (since all I can see is a blue tag), but I've gotten to the point where I always look for that tag in the windshield, when I don't see the wheelchair symbol on the license plate. When the person is there, and they shouldn't be, I'm always like "thank goodness for the sign below the symbol" which essentially says that those who park there that shouldn't will receive a fine.

@rml695 yeah you could be fined out here too but its not enfoced all the time which is why this behavior of people taking advantage happens so much. there needs to be tougher sanctions for this. right now people are not gettign the message these fines are not working
