  • 4:36 .. Matt Damon playing as Arnie??

  • @BadSideOfHeaven Krav Maga was NOT used in ANY of the three films. I have worked with Imada and trust me, he does NOT use it. JKD and Kali moves are often mistaken as KM moves. Mainly because some were borrowed from JKD and Kali.

If you want to see Krav Maga, go watch SALT or ENOUGH. Is it just me or do practitioners of KM always try to claim it's use in films where it was never even in the choreography. Bourne, Bond, Batman, Taken, MI3, etc, etc.

  • I want to be jeff imada's apprentice.

  • some will always claim this is kKav Mga moves... well what can I say? Jews are always fond of telling lies...

  • "Shaky cam" is the best/only way to realistically depict fighting in all its speed, precision and brutality.

Look at the "steady cam" fight scenes in The Dark Knight, specifically the ones with Batman vs the "doctors" out in the open and vs the thugs in the garage -- how awkward & slow did those fights look with the steady cam??

  • shooting style*

  • While I'm a fan of Paul Greengrass, it is a bit amusing to watch the cameraman, two or three feet from the actors, lunging and weaving and bouncing in place as if there's a wasp annoying him. Other directors aping this shooting has almost ruined other films--Quantum of Solace, Killer Elite. Nowadays I find it more exciting when action is shot cleanly, crisply, almost detached, such as in Drive and Haywire.

  • man this trilogy never gets old and fight scenes amazes me.

  • I love how small the set is. That's all it really takes to make a good story is a small team of people in a small room. Everything looks so personal, whereas when I think of hollywood I think of like DIRECTOR HERE then below is ACTOR then below etc etc. But here it's not like that at all. I think they make it seem that way for promotional purposes.

  • I would just hope Damon changes his concept about this whole "just making it look real." I don't think that's the ultimate goal. I think the goal is to live this life and get a glimpse of what it would be like to be a soldier and to feel it. It's all about the energy and discovering that part of you that wants to be a proficient fighter. It's too bad he just considers the techniques like a small time dance (it is a dance don't get me wrong) but he doesn't run with this valuable training.

  • I don't give postive reviews on a lot of youtube comments, but this fight scene was a amazing. I was searching for a weapon style kill martial art that is proven and effective I could add to muay thai (what I use for my base) and discovered escrima/kali. I took a month of it and it made me a much better fighter. Now I am abidexterous with sticks.

  • I like how matt tells it how it is.. he knows hes no jackie chan for real, hes just an actor who has to learn some choreography to look badass.. still matt is awesome
