The only reason AMD's conversion is faster is because they OWN a GRAPHICS company (ATi) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Intel doesn't! Intel is mean't for computing processes not video! Intel even suggests to buy a discrete graphics card. This is so unfair!

Intel is the best for multitasking Renderings and much more. While AMD is only for basic computer people

@n0f3aR629 serosly WTfreak is wrong with you??? AMD is for people who do nothing but just stare at there monitors while Intel core i5 are way faster than AMD x6 can be overclocked to 4.8GHZ on air and way faster on renderings and multitasking

intels faster. even i5s are stronger than x6.
but they have that booty ass price so amd is good if ur on a budget.
amd users bash on intel when they prolly havent used intel. intel processors are FAST. but i say its not worth the money so ill just get my AMD . :))

AMD graphic cards doesn't have support to any Unix-like except Macs :( Else I would consider AMD graphic cards...

The point is the Tri core AMD is the same price (typically cheaper) than the best Intel Core2 Duo's available. So this is more of a cost for performance comparison, which AMD will always dominate and has dominate for a long time.
