Should I change Taylor Swift's name? Because people are saying it's confusing with two Taylors. AND if you think I SHOULD then what should her new name be?

"Knock, knock."

Selena peered up from the book she was reading while laying on her bed and smiled, "Hey Nick."

"Whatcha doing?" He asked as he sat down beside her and she turned on her back and moved her head to the side to face him.

"Reading a book." She replied blandly.

"Doesn't seem like it's keeping you interested." He chuckled as he gently covered her knee with the palm of his hand, slowly rocking it back and forth.

"No," Selena smiled like a school girl at his touch. "It's interesting, but it's just long and there's too many big words." She crinkled up her nose in disgust.

Nick leaned in closer to her face, "I thought you understood big words?"

"You think I can do a lot of things." She responding, giggling. "Hey how did you get in here anyways, are my parents home?"

"Nah, they're still not home. I just used the spare key you gave us." He explained.

"This is so weird." Selena thought out loud.

"What is?" Nick cocked his head to the side waiting to hear her response.

"The fact that you have a key to my house," she sprang out, as if it were totally obvious.

"But I've always had a key to your house," Nick said slowly, trying to comprehend what she meant.

Selena turned her head and played with her chipping nail polish, "But you've never been my boyfriend."

Nick's heart stopped. She had never used that word before, unless it was referring to Taylor.

"I mean not that you're my boyfriend," she quickly added. "Well you kind of are, but you kind of aren't." Again she crinkled her nose as if she finally realized she had brought up a sensitive topic.

"Just remember Sel, labels don't matter." He responded, hoping it would put her mind at peace once again.

"Hey Joe do you think you could come over after school and help me with some of my homework? Math is killing me right now." Demi asked as Joe shut his locker and turned to face his girlfriend.

"I really wish I could," he started as the guilt already began to engulf him, "but I've got some baseball things I need to work out."

"Oh." Joe could easily see the disappointment in Demi's face and it hurt him, it really did. But he had to finish his baseball stuff; it wasn't something he could put off. Seeing Taylor wasn't something he could control. Wait, why was he even thinking about Taylor? She wasn't part of this conversation, but she is. No, no she isn't. She's just one of the first aid staff who's attending the baseball meetings and nothing more; nothing more at all.

"But I'm free tomorrow." He said eagerly.

"Alright," a smile spread on her face, "I'll ride home with you guys tomorrow." She reached up to give him a quick peck on the lips.

"Sounds great." Joe called out as Demi headed off to her next class.

"Why are you even holding on to her man? She doesn't even give you anything, you barely get a kiss." Rob complained as the two sipped beers.

"You don't understand Rob; it's a matter of pride." Taylor explained

"Screw pride, she's useless." He grumbled.

Taylor chuckled, "That may be true, but she'll come around eventually. Besides it's not like she has a choice." He smirked to himself as he took another sip of his drink.

"What about the Nick guy?" Rob brought up carelessly, though he knew about Taylor's temper.

"He's not a problem," he replied, surprisingly coolly. "He's never been."

"I don't know. I saw them after school a couple days ago and they seemed kinda close."

"Will you please shut the fuck up." Taylor snapped.

"Sorry," Rob said, a bit slurred.

"Nick Jonas knows his boundaries, and if he ever crosses them I'll just hurt the thing closest to him," He announced.

"And what's that?"

After a moment or two of silence Taylor spoke, "I think you can figure that one out for yourself." He finally said, smirking with satisfaction.
