"In the situation where a Goalkeeper and an opponent are racing to reach a loose puck and the Goalkeeper and the opponent collide as they reach the loose puck, no penalty shall be assessed to the opposing player if the opponent is deemed to be playing the loose puck . "

Keyword "deemed" meaning it's the referees discretion if it's a penalty or not.

Again and again... the same as every year. Canada loses with the Czech Republic, Canada fouls. Thast it. I can't remember victory of canada with czechs on some higher tournament.

??? Where you can see any racing to reach puck? Vokoun was in the holding of puck and he was attacked by player, whose motivation was not to reach the puck, but to hit the goalman. Referee who doesn´t consider it as a faul is blind.

Time 1:21. Vokoun stopped the puck along the boards and it bounced away from him. When he goes to shoot the puck, Perry comes in and hits his stick/body.

Canada never sends an A team to the WC. No one here really cares. We care about the Juniors, Olympics and World Cup. The Under-18's is a load of bullshit too because all of our best guys are in OHL playoffs. Real Under-18 is the ivan hlinka

@bjtkyo ur pathetic by only just replying to my comment. It just underlines what others pointed out already. Canadians are sore losers. Besides, the wannabe Czech names u quoted don't even exist and it's obvious that someone hasn't seen the Czech Olympic team, else he would know that these guys would never make it there either, but I take it that discussing with a brick would be more productive anyway
