  • How come all the animators were white?

  • @iDraw3G Because this film was made in the 1930's before the civil rights movement. At that time the education and opportunity to make a career as an animator would have been available to white males and pretty much no one else. That's also why there weren't a lot of woman artists at the studio either. In the 50's and 60's as attitudes began to change you can see more diversity at Disney, including people like Floyd Norman.

  • @SenAkeno He IS the best. :) I named my own cat after him; a tuxedo cat just like he is.

  • I found the evolution of Jiminy Cricket pretty interesting. :) Yeah, I don't think a realistic cricket would be too appealing to audiences. Real ones do look disgusting. :p
