Big Bend Open Road Race BBORR 2009, 140mph Class, 2003 Cobra

This is a segment of our southbound (leg 1) run in a 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5hAucEOUzM for a roadside video (with audio!) of the car headed northbound (leg 2) at 160mph. The car has 460 rwhp in road race configuration. A custom gps program helps navigate. Audio has been removed.

Very, very nice video. How did you get the time, mph and miles on the display?

@RSpi007 My navigation software logs all of the data and it then spits it out in SSA format to overlay onto the video.

Sweet. I was not able to make it this year but it's on top of my bucket list. My goal is to do it spring 2012. I'm working on my car, hope to have it ready by the end of Sept. I'll have to find out the cost so I can start putting away the money.
