Otto Dix - Ptici (HQ)

Otto Dix is a Russian band of darkwave music formed by Michael Draw (vocals, lyrics), Marie Slip (composition and arrangement), Petr Voronov (electro-violin), they are named after the post-expressionist and new objetivist german painter Otto Dix . This is one of my favourite songs by Otto Dix with a slide of pictures I made. I hope you enjoy it.

Birds
Black birds are clutched in cages.
The prophetic birds, the God's crows.
By the sky cursed, by the Earth not taken,
By Devil forlorn and by God abandoned.

Black birds are flying above the city
Birds, that can make Gods starve.
Prophetic songs sing the forbidden.
God's angels, christened by no one.

Black birds gather in flocks.
Till croak, they attempt to argue with God.
Cries and prayers they endow with threats.
Decorating the crown of thorns with roses.

Black birds fall in love with the sky.
From non response they dive into abyss.
Heart is shattered and wings are broken -
That's how God's crows perish.
