@Qbendanny , "Too Many Girls" opened on Broadway in 1939 with Desi Arnaz in the cast. The film version, starring Lucille Ball, and which also featured Desi who came out to Hollywood to do the film, was filmed in 1940. By 1946, Desi had moved well beyond Too Many Girls and was traveling the country with his band, the Desi Arnaz Orchestra.
The conga line was brought to Broadway in a musical called "Too many Girls" I believe 1946 by Desi Arnaz. It starred Desi Arnaz and was directed by legend George Abbott. It became a Hollywood film with Lucille Ball who fell in love with Arnaz.
