The iPod touch is very conventient tool to use as a wi-fi sniffer for information security professionals looking for a rogue wireless access hub. You know the crackers and hackers will be using it as opposed to wardriving with a laptop and a pringles can. Forgive the blurry at times video, battery power was running low and we didn't catch it until later

  • Well WiFi is free for the people who are feeding off of the connection. It is not free for the person who is providing the wireless network.

  • dude! read before documenting! just a feedback.. thanks for the intention

  • wow it must of cost alot of money to buy all those routers to put in your house

  • how do you get the default wifi unlocked

  • are you in the ghetto cuz i think i hear cop cars and a guy yelling in the background

  • Not a sniffer a sniffer tells you what packets are being sent

  • This is not a sniffer. A sniffer is a packet analyzer (aka network analyzer, protocol analyzer or sniffer), computer software or hardware that can intercept and log traffic passing over a digital network.

This shows you what networks you can connect to but not what traffic is being transmitted to and from them. Therefor, this is not a sniffer. Bone up on your vocab because this video gets a failing grade.

    :)

  • @GamePlayUpload Not in the US. It's free. It doesn't increase the price of anything. Everyone from the $50 hotel to the $200 hotel had free WiFi. Every McDonalds, StarBucks, Borders, and Panera also has free WiFi. It's free. It's not restricted. It's the full Internet. I'm in 10 hotels a year; I've never paid for WiFi and I've never been charged extra. Welcome to 2010. End of Discussion.

They have cheaper internet if you uses there computers but i guess that's because

they don't let you you download not 100% sure about price but i know it ain't cheap but some hotel's give free WiFi others rob you blind

but there's more hotel's i've been to that have a BT WiFi you pay for than free WiFi
