@Salvus967 Yeah that's true but wait we got Lions in America already in zoo's. So why isn't evolution taking it's place? Making the Lions to the mighty American Lion?

@LXLGREENEYEZ19 that would be a bad idea! i think north america's eco-system is already to fragile, it could not support lions of all things!!! the only place they would likely survive is on the great plains...but there is not enough room left for wild lions..

i guess the american lion was as big as the Liger?... just not as heavy or atleast it could hunt and run. not like the liger that is to fat and big to survive :P

@PHDcsfan it appears that ancient lions were the biggest of all cats, and not tigers..unless there was some ancient giant tiger that has yet to be discovered.....either way, the cat species is so amazing...i love dogs too, but something about cats makes them so amazing, so cunning!!!
