@jt8fan7272 This happened to me on a MD-88. The kid was screaming and kicking the back of my seat. I wanted to hear the JT-8s on takeoff, so that's what I did and it worked! :)

Here's a suggestion for disturbing kids like that. This worked well in my situation. First complain to the flight attendant...then after he/she tells the parent to keep their kid quiet, they must because if they DO NOT OBEY a flight attendant, then it becomes a FEDERAL VIOLATION! So if the little shit screams again, then the parent can be charged! Believe me....it's a big motivater and it works!
