To download an mp3 file of the accompaniment, go to www.steveparkhornmusic.net. This is a really great recital piece. Subscribe! I will be adding more solos on a regular basis. I teach horn at a University and my goal is to create a video library of some of the best horn solos for my students and others. Also let me know if there is something you would like me to record. If you would like an mp3 file of the accompaniment, send me your email address and I will send you the file.

  • Very nice. When did you start playing the horn?

  • 7th grade - back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Before that I played trumpet for three years.

  • @ohsteacher you rock I just started playing french horn last year.. but I prefer piano. btw YOU ROCK!

  • Mr. Park, you are an inspiration to me, I always listen to your recordings for practice, thank you! I (hopefully) will be attempting to master hunters moon this year!!!

  • I don't see how my comment was spam. I simply asked for the piano part so i can practice...

  • @MelloSymantha Different ebouchre can result in different tones, also the french horn is possibly the greatest instrument when it comes to alternate fingerings. Even more so when it's stopped, because you can bend the pitch up or down.

  • Just wanted to say thank you for this recording. I'm playing this piece for a Winter Recital and for Solo and Ensemble and I really learned a lot from listening to you. So thank you. You are an excellant horn player and very enjoyable to listen too.

  • Piano mp3 would be much appreciated :) jaredagoldston@gmail.com
