You're more likely to have a baby with complications the older you are. The prime age to have the healthiest kid is in your early twenties.

@dhinge having a baby... period, can be risky in itself at any age for the health of the mother. As for health for the child this only concerns women (not men), but in my opinion 25-29 is a great age for a woman to have a healthy child, no earlier. And if you're not financially ready by 29, dont have babies and adopts as most intelligent human beings should. Let the stupid and the poor keep pro-creating…

@Matttheweatherman13 even if they get lucky by knowing the right people or being born with into a easier financial situation at a young age as a vast majority of the world are not, the brain isn't ready to be a parent until it has fully matured which is usually past 25 for men, but I would personally say 30 for both men and women as finances and maturity should be set for a more stable family structure.
