@PortabellaShrooms thats ur opinion for me it doesn't i don't believe in a higher being just a source energy that every one and everything is connected to and when u die ur energy becomes 1 with again i am a spiritual person (which isn't a religion just a way of life) and energy can't be destroyed scientifically proven

@whitestar111 It does matter, because it affects how they live now, if I were an atheist, I would not need to go to church, whereas, my being a Catholic, my eternal destiny depends on how I live, and one example is going to Church. It's tied in with the idea of truth.

@whitestar111 I kinda feel the same way the gods of antiquity were probally aliens, at least some of them. that seems a more plausable definition than an existential being. and the very idea of a being like the christian god has many fallacys and adherent flaws in the understanding. BUT the energy of what some call the soul does exist outside of corpreal existence unless one chooses to not acknowledge then their energy is dispersed into the void upon relief from temporal existence
