Yes, Bono and U2 have achevied alot but they worked very hard to where they got. It took them thousands of concerts before they got big. When i seen there 83 concert on VHS in Denver, I even told my own mother that this band is going to be big one day and I was right. I did meet Bono and the boys a few times since i have seen U2 13 times in concert since 1985. I told Bono that I wish I could work for him and he told me, " I wish I could work for you.I think he was trying to say it is hard work.

How can anyone be negative after this. I mean if you have NEVER known who Bono is or what he's doing now you would say this young man is incredibly smart and more humble than his fellow musicians of the time.

@thetrueparadisecity I agree with you as well. Most people that say bad things about others who are not only sucessful, but save lives on this earth, are unhappy and discrutled about there own lives. What a pity. Have a realationship with God and maybe you wouldnt be so unhappy and have bad things happen in your life and quit slamming on a wonderful human being.

What did you ever do you? Probebly nothing. Because most people who say things bad about good people are unhapppy inside. Another wondering spirit. How sad.

I'm so jealous of him. He was so young here and full of plans about leading U2 and now it's pretty clear he has achieved everything he wanted! Being 20 and wanting to live everything at once is driving me crazy!

I never even thought of Bono as being Jesus Chirst or the band being his disciples and all the other nonsense gargabe you said about them. I have been a fan since 1984. Sounds like from what you wrote about U2 that your just jealous and another discrunteld and unhappy human being.
