F-22 pulls into a slow vertical climb before coming to a complete stop at the apogee, then "walking" the plane backwards before flying out of the hammerhead.
yea you do need certain engines that can go to zero miles an hour and ammedietly accelerate fast. The superhornet colud not do this manuver, but it is a great manuverable plane and it has no canards or thrust vectoring.

I think it takes special engine to do this as during the maneuver, it's not scooping as much air. Can superhornet do this? Great video.
