I can't wait to buy this book and serge something similar. I love Nancy.

She never seems to amaze me! What a neat idea. I've thought serged edges looked cool but had never seen anybody use it in a quilt before!
The fabrics in this quilt are a bit loud for my taste but the quilt is beautiful none-the-same.

Is there a special foot you need to buy for your serger to get a 1/4" seam?
MsKathy07 3 weeks ago
@MsKathy07 Use your standard foot and adjust your stitch width so the finished seam is a 1/4". Visit your Baby Lock dealer for serger accessories. Thank you for watching Nancy Zieman TV.

can I do the same thing with simple machine...i don't have the serging machine..

@chavanrenuka Sharon Rotz designed this quilt to be made on a serger. However, it's possible that you could adapt it to be made on a sewing machine. Thanks.
