RosenKreuzStilette - Grolla Mode 1 Life Clear - Part 4 of 6

This is the fourth of six videos of a run of mine through RosenKreuzStilette, a notably difficult MegaMan clone made by erka:es. This particular replay is special because, instead of the normal game where you play Spiritia Rosenberg, who handles like MegaMan, I play as Grolla Seyfarth, who handles like Zero (except without gaining skills from defeated bosses - Grolla in the opening stage is exactly the same as Grolla fighting the final boss), and I complete the entire game without dying.

In this video, I tackle the first three stages of Graf Michael Sepperin's fortress. MegaMan aficionados will instantly identify the first two stages as obvious references to the first two stages of Dr. Wily's fortress in MegaMan 2, right down to the Cross Wall replacing the Dragon and the Stained Glass Clusters replace the...whatever the hell those pink fusing things were in that bottle-shaped room. The first stage also pulls a bit of layout from the first stage in Dr. Cossack's fortress from MegaMan 4. (For the curious, when playing as Spiritia, the two PharaohMan eyeball platforms are not there, allowing Spiritia to get past those rooms in true MegaMan 2 fashion with her "Ein" and "Zwei" items (which are essentially Item-1 and Item-2, but you could have guessed that if you knew how to count in German anyway).

The boss of the third stage is Raymund Seyfarth, a deceased war hero who happens to be Grolla's father. This is only really important for Story Mode purposes, though. (In Grolla's design for the upcoming seqel, RosenKreuzStilette Freudenstachel, she has rid herself of her Grollschwert in favor her father's sword, seen being dropped on her head in this battle - and over the ledge at the end of it - as well as on Grolla's Game Over screen.)

I told myself on 2 occasions "Genius, Kilga"

- at 3:01, it's possible to take the former ladder to climb down, regardless as Grolla or Tia without using the Zorne Bomber

- "she has rid herself of her Grollschwert in favor her father's sword, seen being dropped on her head in this battle " I've seen my own personal battles as well as yours. This never happened. Btw, Grollschwertz refers to her skill, not her sword. Which is why she retains it in FS.

Uh, the giant sword that he drops on your head during the vacuum attack is his sword - you can see it fade away as he starts swinging his scythe - and Grolla is most definitely using that sword in Freudenstachel.

Oh...if you're referring to that, it happens to Tia as well, but you don't see her using the sword yet, do you? I thought you meant, the sword actually dropped on her AFTER the fight.

...After seeing the perfect manouverability and mad skeelz in the other stages and on the other bosses, I lol'ed at one of these.
