IMPORTANT: I SOLD THIS FLASHGUN A LONG TIME AGO, and I hadn't used it for well over year before that. I don't know much about flash photography, so I cannot answer your questions. I'm sorry for that.

Hey, can you give me some information on what would be the best slave flash for a Sony. I'd be using it mostly for outdoor night shots. I've never bought an aftermarket flash so any recommendations or information would be great!

@TristanMathews17 I have no clue, sorry. Sold my flashgun about a half a year ago, after not having used it for well over a year. Flash photography isn't my thing.

Do you shoot in low-light area? Do you just use low aperarture lenses?

@TristanMathews17 I shoot with a 35, 50 and 85mm, all f/1.4. I'm not afraid of pushing ISO up to 5000 or even 6400 either, if need be. Never need a flash.

@reptedjess I was gonna make it, and then I got a 50mm f/1.4. Never used the flash after that. In fact, I sold it a couple of months ago. Sorry.
