  • @VintageJunior If the great Union between these countries were to be dissolved it would be disastrous for everyone, I'm Welsh and I hope this Union goes on forever, It in fact one of the best things that has happen to Wales, and there is no English Empire ,only the British Empire. Which Wales is not part of, It's part of the United Kingdom, we Call it that for a reason.

  • Welsh, the most British people on the planet.

  • Well done in the Rugby today - you (and Ireland), played a great game - hope England can do the same one day (a man can dream!)

  • @steveyt0 I actually concur with your analysis of the Canadian flag. I'm also not uber-natonalistic to believe my nation reigns supreme among others.

  • @SamonMarquis And actually your flag has a fucking leaf on it? So what do you know? Who are you to tell us what we can put on our flag?

  • @SamonMarquis The Dragon is an important Welsh symbol? Its from the prophecy of Merlin. The Red Dragon represents the Celts of Wales, and a White Dragon represents England and the Saxons, It is said that the White Dragon and the Saxons would win at first but eventually the Red Dragon and the Celts would rise again and re-conquer Britain. Why shouldnt we use it on our flag?

  • @mikaelnalicia No it isnt? King Arthur was King of an area in modern day North Wales who united the celts of wales to fight the invading Saxons? In those days Celtic warriors took the name of an animal as their nickname, thats where Arthur comes from, "Arth" which is Welsh for Bear.

  • wonderful! :D Free Celtic Countries!!

  • @1701EarlGrey but was born in cornwall
