  • Man, i have to admit, you're a monster of tone. I have a question: the rp 500 would sounds good through a solid state amp? And for live application, is it reliable?

Thanks a lot! (UniVibe was the best!)

  • @BiavaStratTele Yes to both I reckon. I think the RP500 would sound fine through a nice clean solid state amp, which is my preferred way of working actually. These settings for instance all use a clean Twin patch, so the sounds are not reliant on any specific overdriven amp tone. And construction-wise it definitely feels reliable.

  • @desertcomb when you use it on the pc IS it better than software like guitar rig 4 or amplitube? better distortion?

  • @WutangClan4LiF3 Sorry I'm not really familiar with the quality of the distortion in Guitar Rig or Amplitube. My guess is that distortion is comparable, but without the potential latency issues with software-based solutions.

  • what are the settings in the equalizer?

  • @xlocknloll The EQ settings are exactly as you see them here. Only the Mid EQ is engaged. +2dB @ 3kHz, using the widest Q.

  • Thanks for the vid, bought a used RP500 and it didn't come with the CD. Now I found the X-edit software thanks to you.

  • @k0staZ Yep, cheers djluis49, it's X-Edit, available for free at digitech's website.
