@JohnQRandom To be fair, Bring the Light is one of the worst songs by Beady Eye (in my opinion), while this is probably the best High Flying Birds song. Beady Eye have some decent songs, like Kill for a Dream and The Beat Goes On. Noel wasn't the only good songwriter in Oasis, Andy isn't bad either.

Man it's just an opinion. To me, this soundcheck of If I had a Gun is erie and extremely meaningful. Listen to the one I have in my favorites box (the first one on my channel). Someone added some strings in the background, it's lovely.

Bring the Light however sounds like "laundry detergent commercial" music. Seriously, when I hear it, I'm expecting to see a box of soap with some women's voice saying "get your clothes extra bright with All Bright!"

How can you actually like this song? Its doesn't even have a melody. I could write this shit tune in five minutes but I would never even try to release it. There are some good tunes on the NGHFB-record but this and Everybodys on the run are the worst songs ever written by Noel. No (unique) melody. Totally predictable. Bring The Light is much better. When I saw it live it blew my head off. If I had a gun, on the other hand, would make me fall asleep. Sorry for my english
