If you can't bring the scientist to the tornado, bring the tornado to the scientist.

  • Can you build me a model of a town?

  • @TheUnagie232 not all the time. there are some that start spinning at ground level, reaching up and meeting the funnel midway to the clouds. it is VERY rare, but it has happened. i have seen it.

  • I thought a tornado starts from the clouds to the ground?

  • OMG good job am dumb i want to do that

  • @KewlD334 hahaha i feel dumb now haha i didnt kno that... well i deserve dhat

  • do u know that the tornadoes that dont touch ground are called twisters the one on the ground is called tornado

  • Pretty amazing though I've never heard tornado strength has increased? I thought that was a myth due to population increase in previously unpopulated regions. Still though, I'd love to throw a model ship in a pool and run that thing over it.

  • sure its an awesome video but i wanna see the F5 tornado simulator

  • @frena323 they were actually testing that when I left for spring break. They wanted to determine whether it is better to open windows or not. They had a single small house with 120 pressure taps on the inside. They started with the house completely closed up and one by one they removed the windows. I haven't heard the results yet, but they were studying this.

  • @nitesXmoon...why not, because it is not a smart idea...I go to ISU and am in the wind tunnels a lot. A year or two ago, a reporter from Japan decided she wanted to do just that, and they started up the tunnel around her, one move and she was down. And if I recall correctly, that was just experiencing a EF2 or 3 tornado.
