Not all improv of course, the songs are my arrangements of a few songs, namely "Blackbird" by The Beatles and "Like Someone In Love" by Jimmy van Heusen (Is it usually played in B? I play it in B since I heard Martin Taylor play it here on YT) improvise around those, and the rest is just made up along the way. Hope you like it :)

  • Cool Video

    I like that guitar

Would you say that it sounds good with an fender amp?Especially because of the feedback!

Also i don't know if this guitar would be good for Blues!

    Greeting

    Sebastian

  • @MrSebb1994 It's quite good when it comes to feedback. The floating neck mini-humbucker is pretty nice sounding, but whether it's good for you is rather more down to your preferences and technique I think. Like for instance the non-fixed bridge tends to move (a lot) if you are heavy handed. They are nice, but particular guitars :)

  • Looking to buy a Hagstrom... personally love the look of the 550 but the only thing that may be the difference is first how it feels, and second is because it only has one pickup. You sound great by the way, as does the guitar. Can you get a fair amount of different sounds out of it though?

  • @NDOrehowsky I don't mind the single pickup much, can use the tone and various pedals to vary it up a bit. It's a full hollow and it's no more prone to feedback than my semi hollow ES335. The 550's floating neck mount PU might be why. If I was to play only one guitar though, I wouldn't mind having a bridge PU on it as well. Choices choices...

  • @NDOrehowsky oh and thanks :)

  • Very nice playing! I enjoyed listening, but I have also been researching Hagstrom a bit, I want one of these 550s for sure. Got any of the other models? I've also been liking the Swede. Keep jazzin'!

  • @BitterBosh Other than the HL550 I own no Hag's but the Viking and swede both seem pretty good so far, I didn't try many but the are pretty good for the money. However, I would examine it closely before buying. They are mass produced so make sure you pick a good one and you should be getting a lot of guitar for your money.

I ordered mine and theres a problem with the truss rod, not quite sure what I'll be doing about it, otherwise the guitar is nice.

  • grymt som fan bror ;)

  • @edudzzaj I suppose I'd have to agree with you on having more than one pickup... but even though I haven't played the 550 yet, watching and listening you play and just the look alone of it makes me want to buy it! Thanks for the input
