That's Kevin Spacey, he couldn't say hi to my friend...I don't know why, but that's alright I got his autograph! The woman, Laura Michelle Kelly was Sweeney Todd's wife in the Tim Burton/ Johnny Depp film!!

The show was called Speed the Plow..I wasn't real impressed with it, when Spacey wasn't on stage...

I'm honestly all right with it, he's probably under contract or something that says he can't, or some other kind of legal deal...at least that's what I hope the reason is, I don't want to think he's a jerk, he's one of my favorite actors.

Let's see, he doesn't have to meet & greet at the stage door, he doesn't have to pose for photos with fans, he doesn't have to sign autographs - yet he does all of that. Typical Hollywood star? No way - he's better than most. Just because he didn't respond to a request how "you" think he should of you think he's an a-hole??? Funny, you know you're really not entitled to anything from him other than a great performance.

Kevin is not a jerk. Like stratcat43 said, he doesn't have to talk to any of his fans if he doesn't want to. Like most actors don't want to. But he does. AND he is bombarded with over-eager fans A LOT if you have seen some other clips. Sometimes the man just gets tired. He's human!!

Its got nothing to do with anything legal. He has a reputation of being a bit of a bellend after shows at The Old Vic. I have heard many stories about him. I tried getting his autgraph on my American Beauty DVD and he point blank refused just like he did with that girl.

From a legal standpoint, he's covering his own ass. Doesn't make him a jerk, it makes him smart. Chances are very good that his own attorney has advised him to the possible implications of such statements. It's a pity that the rest of the world are such jerks like people like him have to take such precautions.

He's not a jerk, I've seen his do meet and greets all the time. Everybody is different.
