Good no call. First, it was not a legal fair catch signal. Second, it looked as if it was another returner who ran into the receiver, not the kickers. Good job consulting with the field judge as well.

This is a good "no call" by the officials. Merely putting your hand up is not a valid fair catch signal. The hand must be waived from side to side to be a valid signal.

At least the texas-austin player caught the ball, instead of just letting it sit on the ground as the clock expired.
cant see from that angle but from the other angle on tv he was blocked into him, so it doesnt matter if he called for a fair catch
