Hi Peter, this is good to heשר!
The main point of the song is a man begging his girlfriend for them to stop fighting - he asks her to put down their weapons and instead buy strawberries - hence the name of the song, "Tutim" (=strawberries in hebrew). He talks about a new day, where they can go back to how things were before .
