It's funny to notice that the 99,9% of deaths are caused by 4 people

This is the best thing Peter Chung ever made. The message is so poignant and the subtle mockery of mainstream action/war films is hilarious. I love how the music and mood changes for each "hero," like they're all the main characters in their own little action movies.

What made Aeon Flux so remarkable was the creativity they brought to the writing. To show how there are no good guys in war, the writers of this short broke all the rules of the traditional protagonist narrative, replacing it with a kind of "baton pass" narrative where a hero from each faction takes over as the protagonist after he/she kills their predecessor.
Nobody had ever thought of doing anything like this before or since.

This is amazing. No dialogue, switching narratives, and action. My fave Aeon Flux short!
