Living in the "Big Smoke" you don't have a lot of wiggle room. I made this "motorcycle spinner" to ride out of the garage. Motorcycles don't look good backing out. It was simple and cheap to make. I had most of the materials lying around in the garage. I only had to buy the "Lazy Susan" from the hardware store (about $25.00). My Triumph is 500 lbs including me. I used a piece of hardwood red oak 1X8X72 that I had kicking around. If you have a heavier bike and/or you're a big/heavy guy or gal I recommend you use steel plate instead of wood or at least join the two angle iron sides with steel braces underneath for added support. The trick is to use the bike's centre of gravity to balance the bike as you spin around (lean forward). The bike actually floats when you're spinning. Before you put the bike on the side stand ride the front wheel off the platform so a part of the weight of the bike is distributed onto the ground. The rear wheel should sit on about the centre of the platform above the "Lazy Suzan".
Notice the lack of smoke from the pipes. The piston rings and Viton o-rings on the valve stems from the quick reuild look like they took.
See you on the blacktop soon.
