McNulty wants Levy to hand over Savino to the cops after Kima gets shot. Soon Pearlman realizes that McNulty used her to threaten the Barksdale lawyer. AKA one of the most notable Dominic West accent slips. (Season 1, Episode 11 "The Hunt")

  • nobody gave a fuck about the police on the wire it was all about the crime and criminals!

  • I thought it was on purpose that his accent slipped. To show he was really pissed off or something.

  • Pearlman > Kima

  • His accent is clear as day here

  • 2:30 "...didn't want to be partners..." You can hear the accent.

  • he did a good job covering up his accent. LOL

  • I like how McNulty came close to burying Levy in this scene, something that Pearlman nearly does in the last episode of the series.

  • @Johnny8109 He means the Baltimore legal community. You're right, it does sound like he could means Jews, but "tribe" is a word McNulty used several times in the show, and he was always talking to people about their profession. For instance, he told the corrupt, lying reporter at The Baltimore Sun in Season 5 he wasn't part of his "tribe," and he was referring to the media community.
