I need to know where to find the 'default blend method' and the default transparency in synfig PLZZ HELP!

The default blend method is located in the main tools dialog. When you first run it, you should see the work compocite towards the bottom. You can click this to select the blend method you want. Transparency is 'Alpha over'.
