Kid Charlemagne - Steely Dan

A home studio recording of a great steely dan number. All the instruments were played by me and to give it a go was a huge challenge. Found the drumming hard due to the 70's groove which i haven't done since the 70's. Geez am i that old now. Carltons solo is sweet and will always be one of the top solos of this era. Bass was damn hard but as I'm not a true bassist I thought I did ok. Excuse the vocals as again I'm not a singer but just wanted to actually play and sing everything on this number.

Wow dude, is this for real? Can't believe ya played and sang the whole tune. The guitar solo not 100% as the original, was this on purpose cuz it sounds like you could nail it. Anyways great to hear someone playing it all. Ya got any more stuff to view?
