On Shabbath, our speech should pertain to the holiness of the day. This holiness is a unique recognition of the Lordship of our Creator over His creation. We do this by willfuly surrendering back to the Creator the dominion over creation which He granted us through the work week, even our very speech. In this way the people of Israel, on a national level, give witness to the nations as to the dependence of all existence upon the Sustainer of existence. He is the Singular Authority over all works. At His command creation was brought forth, and at His command we abstain from exercising mastery over His creation, submitting ourselves to His Will, as to when we may work for our livelihoods, and when we must cease from the ways of the world by totally entrusting ourselves to Him alone for our livelihood - with certainty that He is Sufficient to provide.

  • Why do you read Hebrew with an Arabic accent? it sounds like you are reading the Quran, not the Torah..

  • @thuz94

Can you specify what it is about my Hebrew 'accent' that makes it an 'Arabic accent?'

I'm simply reading the Hebrew in the manner that the Talmudic sages instructed - not pronouncing aiyin like alef and distinguishing between the BeGeD-KeFeT letters.

  • I get really confused by this arabic hebrew you're speaking. It doesn't really make sense.

  • ok the question is...can there be gentile prophets or do prophets supposed to be jews only??

  • Well done.

I was alone tonight and it was a delight to have your vid here with me.

Your accent is typical of the more educated Jews in the US.

Please follow up with your other parts.

    Shalom

  • I think hes becomeing my Favorite Youtuber!

  • You are one of a few remaining people that speak hebrew with the proper accent.

modern day hebrew is so diluted with much European influence in pronounciation.

No wonder most people i have hear reading Torah esp US/RSA/UK sound like they're really battling to pronounce the words.

  • I am looking forward to part 2.

    Thank you for posting :-)

  • Where say Yahweh that we have to burn candels? And where is that in they written Torah?

  • You beat me to this :I I'll probably still make mine.
