Yes but what about those of us who have no intention of worshiping islam .

It seems to me the Caliphates of the past when confronted by christan states the reaction was always war. And looking at the world today..........what has changed?

I'll give you an example of what the spirit of the Islamic caliphate is. When the Muslims overthrew the romans empire, the Calipha of the Muslims at the time (Umar RA), visited Jerusalem which was now under Muslim control

Christian's and jews there had been treated so well that they accepted him fondly. The bishop of the church there invited Umar to pray in the church. Umar declined saying "If I were to pray even once in your church, I fear Muslims tommorow will want to claim it as a church"

Man, Taji Mustafa just lost it at the end. One problem with his view - the caliphates of the past would never have envisioned having a global ummah. The most they ever got was around the Mediterranean, and even that was difficult enough as different regions had different understandings of what Islam was and how to best practice that belief. Creating an Islamic state today is damn well near impossible with the sheer size of people you'd have to account for...and all under one gov't.

Allah has said the Khilafah will come again. Khilafah is something that is part of Islam, and must be implemented. it is a fard. So no matter how impossible things seem, it must be implemented with all the strength of the Ummah. And it was also said by Allah that one day the whole world will be covered with Islam. Islam is there to rule everyone, not for one people. And the Khilafah actually covered from Spain all the way to the Subcontinent. So get your facts right!

Hey you should wake up!! Huu huu!!! Islam will never ever rule the entire world... religion has no answers for modern humans... it will vanish... see it can keep its followers only with harsh rules and laws... if it's not politics than they know their followers will say: GOOOODD BYYEEEE... beliebe me, most Muslims in the West don't want to live under an Islamic religious government, they're not stupid. so give up your dreams hang your Kalifa around your balls! :)

Man that is soooooooo off the mark. The Muslims all around the world are fully aware that Khilafah is the only thing that can save this Ummah and is a necessity, according to our needs and according to the sharia. The ones who don't want to work for it or won't recognise it are the ones who have been consumed by maslahah and greed and money and are the less religious all round ones. Allah (swt) said it will come back, and Nabi (saw) said it will be like the Khulafah rashidun again. So beware.

Actually it is 1000x easier today

There were times when the islamic empire was almost as large as it is today. Minus one or two far off regions like west africa. Throughout the middle-east, central asia, North africa . All of it was under the rule of the caliphate

They did it then, & imagine how hard it must have been, taking a year of travel by horse to get a message from one end to the other

How EASY would it be in todays world of jet technology? Where communication is the blink of an eye?
