You've inspired me to do an obi saber after looking at your guide. Currently I'm also in the process of cobbling pieces together from Russ, and I just need a pommel to finish it off. I was wondering if it'd be possible to make the blade removable for display and costume purposes. Would it still work with a luxeon as well?
