1st Dyno run post Intake, Head, Cam, Roller Rocker changes.
The intake is a Holley Stealth Ram
The Heads are AirFlow Research Eliminator 180's
The cam is a Lingenfelter 211/219 duration
The Rockers are Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Roller Rockers
330 RWHP @ 5300 Rpm
349 Ft/Lbs @ 4600 Rpm at the rear wheels....

    Everythings "bolt-on" except for the fuel lines

    There's a laptop presently sitting on my passenger seat to get the tune down on the PROM. Then we'll see what kind of #'s I can squeeze outta this thing without melting it...... hahahah

  • It's not a stock motor....unfortunately.....

    It's got a GM remanufactured block that has been bored .040", with dished pistons and a .040" deck height.(grrrr)

    I used a Felpro 1094 head gasket to recover some of the compression lost with the dished pistons and larger deck height. So there's definately more to be had with this combo. Some may say that the short cam duration 211/219 will hold me back as far as RPM capability, which I won't argue about... But for now I need to learn how to tune

  • Hedman Elite Longtube Hedders PN 68468 and Flowmaster American Thunder Systems PN 17233

    Check out Dyno 1 and Dyno 2....... I think the exhaust sounds different now that the intake, cam and heads have been changed.

  • The car was running very lean, so we only did 1 pull.

    Time to go home & start tuning!

  • Sweet GTA, good numbers for the TPI. check out my 88 ls1 gta. havent dyno'ed it, but its got all the bolt ons.

  • does the Holley SR Intake bolt right on with the stock wiring harness, or do you have to a new wiring harness?

  • very nice my dad has the same intake setup on is 350 he has a 510/540 cam with 1.7 rockers patriot race heads (alum) w/ s/s valves .125dome pistons punched out .40.50 lb injectors 58mm throttle body all braided stainless lines edlebrock headers super trapp exhaust 10 bolt coneverion out of a 01 t/a t56 tranny he programs his own chips hes got that down to a science i hes got a ton of shit in his t/a o0o and its a 89 trans am obviously stick its pushin about 545 hp and about the same in torque

  • i got a 1987 trans am silver at the bottom and the same color as yours at the top.
