How to Play flv files from the internet in Vlc media player without downloading!!!

open vlc

open a web browser and get a video from youtube

press CTRL+V in vlc

paste in link and hit ok

DONE!!!!

to record video make sure the video is playing then hit view--advanced controls then hit the record button this saves it into your my documents folder

I tried this but I get a split second image of the video then an error. I have the latest version of vlc, how do I get a link to play in vlc?
