Like alot of people already said emo is not a style and we wear stuff on our arms to cover scars not to make a fashion statement

"emo" isn't a style it's a genre of music, some people use it as a label but people that are actually "emo" like me find it offensive. I wear lots of black and always have those glove thingies on not because I think it looks cool but because its me and I need things to cover the scars on my arms.
Oh and p.s not all "emo" people cut themselves, I'm just saying that I do.

um I've been trying to figure this out so what is this emo supposed to be. I see all these depressing things but most people who dress like this are bullies and usually the most popular people who try to make it sound like the whole school hates them or bullies them, and when people like me who actually HAVE to wear a similar style EX thick bracelets/arm warmers to hide scars are judged as the same people. I mean wtf. Is this a fashion thing or something? Because I don't like it.
