Psychoceramics 101

In place of our scheduled lecture by Prof. Josiah Carberry, we bring you a previously recorded presentation by Paul Kerry.

The morning after I recorded the script for this video, a friend payed me an unannounced visit.
After hearing the script and seeing some of the presentation, he started to assert that religion provides people with security, comfort, hope, peace, morality and so on...
The moment that I started showing him a video that put some of the religious crackpottery into the context of reality, he actually put his hands on his ears and started shouting "La la la la !".
He was immediately thrown out and some time later sent me a message asking why it was okay for me to state my opinions on religion but was not okay for him to do likewise...
Urm... Hands... Ears... Ignorance ???
Cognitive dissonance drove him to hostility and projection.

Where will cognitive dissonance take YOU today ?

OK OK, mayb im somewhat below an average Joe, given that i prob should have asked for a 'Scientific explination' rather than 'Scientificly explain'. Anyway, you shouldnt waste your gift by going toe to toe with crackpots on youtube. Rather do something for the greater good of mankind...with a little less Egocentricity and a little more Humility. Then you would be like YODA! :P

This was a wrap-up to describe why crackpots behave the way they do.

Were you using the phrase figuratively? Perhaps we should believe in alien voices, chemtrails and eternal sky-spooks figuratively, too?

I'm glad I watched the entire video before I mentioned cognitive dissonance. I've developed the unfortunate habit of leaving my commentary before listening to the entire presentations. Perhaps thats a form of dissonance in itself, a natural reaction to watching "troofer" videos.

You appear to be watching this series in the wrong order. I notice you just commented on my 864.5MHz vid. That means that if you watch the sequel video (Wake Up and Smell the Coffee), you'll already know the punchline. Ah well... You might still enjoy it anyway. The video after that is "Saturn Aliens Found on Earth".

It's at least as caustic as my Photonic Pwnage vid.

Love your vids. Love the point your trying to make, especialy in this particular vid. NO im not of high Intelligence, NO i dont have a perfect understanding of Science, i am after all, just an average Joe with a thirst for knowledge based in critical thinking. Unfortunately, i cant help but think that your ego does let not only your character down, but lets us who share your views down aswell. Scientificly explain the reasoning behind your dancing parade in the face of those who you debunk?
