ARMA 2 Mod (WW2) Invasion 1944 - Landing

June 6th, 1944
At 0630 hours the first American soldiers land on the beach dubbed 'Omaha'. German defenses built along the coast as part of the formidable 'Atlantic Wall' try to repel the invaders back into the sea.

This video was shot on the multiplayer mission 'I44_COOP_D-Day-1-32' from the original larger mission Invasion, which has now been spread over two missions, D-Day, and D+1 for better performance, playability and to better match the actual events.

@SatanschildDK no matter how much we would all like it if our nation finished the war im pretty sure it was the russians, if russia was never betrayed by germany then the allies would have been FUCKED tryna take on germany, russia and japan at the same time... but yes canada did a fucking good job in taking french towns, and even the pilots in major airbattles

T-34 is probably what you are thinking of, the T-35 which was built around the same time was a huge failure, and built by OKMO design bureau. The T-34 was made by Malyshev Factory Ukraine however, and is not a Russian tank. The BT tank design which was used to model the T-34 chassis etc.. was invented by a "J. Walter Christie", and "American" inventor.

Russia did NOT invent the their main line of battle tanks.

@AustralianKing19 I agree. The Russians invented a tank near the end of the war (I forgot which one... A T- something) that helped, a lot, to take down the panzers and other German tanks. It looked like crap though XD!
