I was a friend of Gaylord and it was always fun to hang out at his home in San Pedro that overlooked the Pacific ocean. I met him at a friend's Sunday afternoon party and Gaylord invited me visit him. When I visited I brought some Nino Rota sheet music and he played it for me on his home organ. He was a real musician and could sight read music which I never could as I played by ear.

@DouglasUrantia Great! I tried on two separate visits to California to meet him. The first time, he had a cold and wasn't leaving the house. The second time, a nurse said that he was very ill and couldn't see anyone. So, I enjoy hearing from people who have stories and photos. I've heard some good ones from Dick Simonton's son.

just got back from disneyland and this song wasnt in the house it was another one related to a "nightmare before christmas" i guess cause of halloween coming up.

Whhhyyy...does blood ooze from between the bricks...voices whisper from the basement...I feel a pulling sensation...the basement is calling...I hear this, this organ music...I feel dizziness...I need to sit down...the moldy basement smell...so alluring, the heat of the furnace...so warm...the sleep...need to sleep...feel so sleepy...the spiderwebs passing through my hair..tossing and turning on the straw floor...a pair of eyes in the corner in the dark...can't wake up...is this a dream...

@cougarfighting Disneyland changes The Haunted Mansion to be themed to Nightmare Before Christmas from the early months of summer through December to honor Tim Burton since he used to be a cast member at Disneyland working at the magic shop on Main Street U.S.A.

i was invited to meet mr. "D" but just a few day's before my appt. he died so sad wa 'I' NEVER THE LESS I WENT ON.mr "D" liked my tap dancing and personality and not bashful. mrs KENNEDY was so ..thought i had great talent to introduce me to mr. "D" to bad all m dance lessons went t shit but anyway at least i was asked to go there.
