coldo2, you're right. I posted about how funny Dan Murnan was when I was on ARS once. I received the most sobering reply I've ever had. A wonderful woman who knew Dan when she was in told me

"no it's not funny, it's tragic. Dan used to be so friendly, so caring. It's heartbreaking to see him behaving this way".

I've never looked at scientologists the same way again. I really feel sorry for Dan.

Do you know what Dan's interests were outside of the Church, if any, Tory?

When he was picketing Mark's house he reminded me so much of the young fellows that tag along behind my husband and friends as they work on, or race, cars. A great follower, if you will. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Dan gave up all outside interests in order to fit in with the group.

This is an amazing video. This isn't just about Scientology. This is about every religion in the world. When you leave it, the people still in think you left because you want to be selfish, or you're evil. Lots of people have that arm folded up reaction.

If I ran into Dan Murnan I think that I would innitiate a conversation about how superior the 1978 Ford F150 was to newer versions and how much fun it is to build hotrods.

Then I would tell him about how Jesus is helping me build my new ratrod, he might understand if I approach him in that manner.
