guns and knives are awesome! how come you have gun hobbyists that own dozens of guns and even automatics and never shoot anything alive if their life?

lol so yer saying being killed by a knife is better than being killed by a gun? back before the handgun was invented the largest preyed upon the weak. guns are an equalizer an 80 yearold grandma can and HAS defended her life against a 200lb teenager.

lol and those cities you are referring to are the ones WITH GUN CONTROLL!!! New York Washington DC and Chicago and LA. the city of washington dc has more people than the entire state of wyoming. and wyomings capital of 60000 had zero murders in 2008.

Has the British government fallen that far off the hook? The government bans guns and now they're moving to ban long kitchen knives. What's next on the list? Hammers? Maybe even ROCKS? !! So how's this gonna work if you're a chef? Will you have to attend some training class, apply for a permit to possess the tools of your trade and then 'register' all your knives or will you just have to do without them? All you carpenters watch out, looks like you're next on the list! Insanity at its finest!

There is no such thing as gun or knife crime! Guns and knives are inanimate objects! They do not have a will of their own, or posses decision making capabilities! They are simply tools that can be used in a multitude of manners! Improper use of a tool does not make the tool inherently evil! At some point, personal responsiblily has to come into play rather than demonizing inanimate objects!
