  • Nice explanation of the basics.

Have you ever heard of a "front naked choke" - like an arm triangle choke, without the opponent's arm in the way ?

I know it is not allowed in competition, but neither are heel hooks, and there are vids of heel hooks.

    Thanks !!!

  • I am a fan of the UFC. MMA is a spectators sport, you don't have to do it to watch it or like it. Jeez.....

  • I TAKE MMA AND IM 8

  • @billysue2 our opinions differ i guess but i one thing its a great sport to get into

  • @headbull2009 i dont let my kids watch mma,its not consistent with the values i teach them.I cant see what a non martial artist would watch mma for other than pure violence of it and I dont agree with that. These guys tend to be immature fantasists, ive sat behind them too many times at events.Weirdos to say the least.

  • @billysue2 "hindsight is always better than foresight" so wheres your insight into understanding that even fans can enjoy MMA regardless of there personal preferences to training!. My brother loves MMA hes only 5yo does he need to train for it? its a paperview sport dude dont you think? I do train hard and i understand your view from a fighters perspective who trains differents disciples but end of the day mate its loved by millions.

  • @headbull2009 you mean insight, not hindsight, everybody has hindsight, not everyone has insight.I think its weird that someone who was so interested in mma techniques wouldnt be training in it.Ive never met a fan who doesnt train although there must be lots, you definitely wont appreciate the grappling and wrestling if youve not done it,striking is obvious to everyone.

  • @billysue2 thats because your one dimensional dude with no hindsight

  • @alfzonic I agree with training, but it is great to look at lots of techniques because everybody does little things different so its good to see alot of technique then take it to training and see what works best for you.

  • Cool video, thanks for posting!

  • i wrote you a commen in your profile, you can reply back if you need something else, btw dont forget you need to train in a dojo, youtube jutsu wont help you.

  • Sorry but I ainn't quite sure what you mean by guard. Closed guard is when you wrap your legs around your opponent? Open guard is when you do not wrap your legs around your opponent? What's a rubber guard? What do you mean by guard at the beggining?
