Realians operate like humans, and some even think they are human or very close to it. It makes sense to me...she destroyed her mind, so there is nothing telling her artificial organs to keep her body going. That's how I took it at least

i know what a realian is XD and actually she is a robot. she's nothing more then a computer with flesh XD how can cpr work on that which does not breathe? the first game states realians are indeed androids, which is a robot. which is automaton.

She's a realian (kind of a synthetic human), not a robot. So, in other circunstances, CPR might work with her. But not in this case, of course! Did she drown or something? But it gives a good emotional impact.
