Beautiful and enchanting

To play this well it also requires an understanding of the tradition as he expresses his inner thoughts regarding this beautiful air. Sean is also descended from a long line of pipers, originally from Co. Wexford, that brought their music to Dublin generations ago. The great Dublin fiddle player Tommy Potts was his uncle and Sean Og Potts , Sean's son is a brilliant well known piper.

The air is Geaftaí Bhaile Buí, the reels are Mhic Eoin's and Tommy Whelan's (Humours of Lough Rea)
My dear friend and old neighbour from Drimnagh, Dublin playing with the care and sincerity that also describes the man himself.
James Keane.

I do like Sean Potts' playing. I keep trying to play in a similar way, but it's very complicated, much more than playing fast.
Also, the peace of his playing is awsome, and I think that this is the real target of all whistle players (my target, at least).
