Vauxhall Chevette Track day thrash and windscreen smash

Toughened windscreen smashing on a trackday after a stone is thrown up by car in front , then a quick thrash round with no screen .

I had thought of that, car has a cage in it but it may have been flexing a bit too. Not 100% sure.

are you sure it was a stone and not cause the car twisted when sideways, either way, love the car

great cars - had a quick go in one years back that belonged to a larger Vauxhall dealer in York (think it was ( Leedhams? ), they had five or six in the workshop and I seem to recall they were a works outfit or team.

One was causing the mechanics some bother as it wouldn't turn over and much prodding and poking around it turned out to be a loose dip from a spark plug that was causing the piston head to jam... magic cars......
