The Dancer Within

The energy within us that has the power to heal and make us move to the groove of the universe. Inner Dance is spontaneous body movement that is both mediation in motion and healing to the mind, body, and Spirit as it brings one to altered states of awareness while fully conscious. The Dance is cathartic, transformational and awakens ones Higher Self. It is an expression of the awakened Spirit within, which is intrinsic to us and part of our nature, making it our birthright. It is a universal spiritual phenomenon that knows no boundaries as it embraces everybody regardless of religion, race, tradition, culture, gender, status and social class. Since its pre-colonial days as an ancient religion it has re-emerged and evolved into a healing art that involves healing the self and others. As such it can be used as a tool not only to deepen and enrich ones chosen religion and spiritual path, but also to inspire everyone to Oneness. I appreciate your valid comment, mgomezmayorga. It is indeed obvious that most everyone knows dancing is an expression that has evolved with humankind. Its obvious that you misunderstood what Pi discovered, which happens to be an energy and not how to dance. An energy that makes people move and somehow heals. Another misconception is that this is a documentary and was never intended to be commercial. But if you think otherwise then that is an opinion which you are certainly entitled to.

Dancing used to be my passion. I'm always in my best mood when I dance. In clubs, most of my friends go there to flirt but I used the opportunity to feel my energy totally loose and go with the flow of energy. :-)

i've always been interested in the Sacred Feminine/the Goddess by way of literature/folklore/mythology; it's refreshing to see that concept being expressed through a more performative medium. but i think we don't necessarily have to visit an ashram to discover that primal rhythm within us, yeah?

You lucky guys with a fast connection. I get it 1 second at a time just long enough to hear a bell ring or a voice say one word. Half an hour later I can watch it all as long as I don't lose the connection in which case it has to start all over again. So far it sounds magical.
