I think the reason why people accept conspiracy theories is because they want to escape reality. I used to believe in all the 9/11 conspiracies since I couldn't accept the fact that 19 islamist radicals managed to penetrate our airspace and kill over 2000 people. The U.S is the most powerful country on earth yet those looney toons managed to divert the C.I.A, FBI and countless other agencies. But now I see the truth and accept it.

cuz lets face it this is a classic logical fallacy of cherry picking only the most ludicrous aspects of the most ridiculous theory by the most insane authors, associating them with a label, and then pinning that label on anything vaguely relating to the former, judging the entire concept of 'conspiracy' on those terms.

Although no other steel-framed skyscraper had ever fallen to fire in history, on September 11, 2001, 3 buildings fell due to fire after 2 of them were hit by airplanes. WTC7, although not hit by an airplane, collapsed at near free-fall speed into its own footprint due to an office fire. Although jet fuel does not burn anywhere near hot enough to melt steel, on 9/11, jet fuel burned hot enough to not only bring down 2 skyscrapers, but 3.

@moviewatcher304 Just because 9/11 wasn't an inside job as many die hard wacko conspiracy theorists would suggest, doesn't mean that the government doesn't do a whole lot of fucked up shit all the time and gets away with it. Though I too agree 9/11 was a legit attack, those fuckers in office still used the event as an excuse to go to war and do a whole lot of fucked up shit in the middle east for their own profit. Undeniable.

If the US government was going to fly airplanes in to the World Trade Center, why would they also plant explosives? Because they didn't think that two jets would do enough damage? Also, on a colder, more practical note, how much would it cost to build two full-size remotely piloted airplanes, plant explosives on every floor of the World Trade Center, and pay off the thousands of people it would have taken to organise the plot, all to fight an expensive war? This is the GOVERNMENT, people!

When you get down to it, all Alex Jones and Clyde Lewis and every other big conspiracy theorist is doing is pissing on the dead and pissing on achievements to advance their own personal agenda.
